Raising the vehicle and disconnecting the connector that services the HO2S represents the first steps for Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 replacement. The Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) functions to extract the HO2S . Before sensor installation for reuse check that the threads receive GM P/N 5613695 anti-seize compound protection. To install the HO2S use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) while applying 42 N.m (31 lb ft) of torque on it. Complete the installation by connecting the HO2S harness connector and then lowering the vehicle.
