How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on 2002 GMC Safari?

Begin replacement of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 by elevating the vehicle. To begin the replacement procedure disconnect the connector which serves the HO2S while also using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to uninstall the HO2S component. Any plans to reinstall the sensor require a pretreatment step where threads get coated with anti-seize compound GM P/N 5813695. Install the HO2S while using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) then tighten it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). After lifting the vehicle you should connect the HO2S harness connector followed by returning the vehicle to the ground.
