In order to service and repair the thermostat, you will have to take out the air cleaner and duct assembly, empty the coolant, and remove the radiator hose. Take out the thermostat and thermostat house, wash off the surfaces and put the new thermostat in. Refill the cooling system, empty the air, reattach components and leak check.
