How to service the fuel injector on 2001 GMC Savana 2500?

The fuel meter body assembly and the injector assembly retainer should be removed to service the fuel injector. Care should be taken to avoid damage of electrical connectors and filters. Take off the injector using a small punch. During the installation of a new injector, lubricate the O-ring seals and calibration should be done appropriately and then reassembled.
