    A: Begin the front park brake cable replacement process by inserting the pin into the park brake pedal before adequately supporting the vehicle at height. Proceed by loosening the cable at this cable adjuster point while disconnecting the front cable from the rear cables. First disconnect the release handle and cable from the car before proceeding to separate the front cable from both lever and retainer. The rubber grommet can be taken out through the cowl after gentle pulling through its opening. Remove the front cable from the vehicle simultaneously. To install the front cable users should pass it through the vehicle before pressing down on the rubber grommet into the cowl firmly. Continue with cable installation by connecting it first to the lever retainer and then to the lever that leads to the following steps of releasing the handle and cable installation. Lower the vehicle while you reinstall the front cable back to the rear cables followed by pulling out the pin from the park brake pedal. The installation requires a lever position at FULL up while measuring the equalizer threads for either 13 mm (0.511 inch) on Passenger/Cargo systems or 21 mm (0.826 inch) on Cutaway/Upfitter models. Check that the vehicle maintains its position while depressed brake lever forces. Keep adjusting the system until all required changes are met.
