During installation position the front cable through the vehicle before putting force into the rubber grommet to set it into the cowl. To install the components proceed by connecting the cable first to the lever retainer before attaching it to the lever and then add the release handle and cable. Connect the front cable with its rear counterparts before removing the lever pin at the FULL up position. The threads of the equalizer require adjustment to 13 mm (0.511 inch) for Passenger/Cargo or 21 mm (0.826 inch) for Cutaway/Upfitters. The vehicle position must be checked while pressing the brake lever before executing further modifications if needed.
