To replace a rear park-brake cable, pin pedal, lift vehicle, loosen adjuster, detach front from rear cables, remove rear shoes, release and withdraw cable. Install new cable to backing plate, refit shoes, reconnect cables, unpin pedal, set lever up. Adjust equalizer threads-13 mm passenger/cargo, 21 mm cutaway/upfitters-lower vehicle, test, readjust if needed.
