How to replace the Power Steering Hose for the Reservoir Inlet on 2001 GMC Savana 2500?

The first step to replace the power steering reservoir inlet pipe/hose requires installing a drain pan under the vehicle and using a siphon to remove the fluid from the reservoir to avoid extensive spillage. Pull out the Brake Booster reservoir inlet hose as well as the hose from the reservoir before taking the hose out of vehicle operation. Install the new hose according to the same path as the original one while maintaining a gentle hose course to prevent both kinks and bends. Place the reservoir inlet hose to the reservoir while placing the clamp at its terminal position and complete the crimping process. Apply the reservoir inlet hose to the Brake Booster by securely positioning its clamp. Inspection of the power steering fluid level comes first followed by drain pan removal from under the vehicle before performing power steering system bleeding.
