    Q:
How to replace the Power Steering Hose on Chevrolet Express 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin by getting something to catch any fluid that may drain from the connections when you replace the P/S cooler pipe/hose. Take off the power steering hoses (3, 4), and cap both the hose ends and the cooler to stop dirt from getting in. After that, remove the power steering pipe fittings and put caps over both the pipes and the cooler ends. Take off the nuts first, and then gently take the cooler out of the vehicle. First, reinstall the cooler, then put the nuts in and fasten them to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Then, put the power steering hose (3, 4) ends back together and connect the power steering pipes. After filling the power steering system with fluid, bleed the power steering system as the last step.
