Begin by taking out the door trim panel followed by the door module together with the water deflector before you can replace the rear inside door handle. The next step requires removing the fastener of the inside door handle from its place. Slide the inside door handle forward to release the tabs from the door after installing lock and latch release rods to the guide clip. The handle needs tilting to remove rocks starting with the Lock knob rod, followed by the Handle lever rod. To install the rods begin by placing the Handle lever rod then the Lock knob rod on the inside door handle. Insert the inside door handle tabs into the door slots after which you should push the handle toward the rear to activate the tabs. Position both the latch and lock rods into the guide clip after which you can install the inside door handle fastener and secure it with 2 N.m (18 lb in). To complete the operation restore the water deflector followed by the door module and door trim panel.
