How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2002 Buick LeSabre?

Turn off ignition then remove the fuel injection sight shield for maf sensor replacement. The maf sensor mounts on the Throttle Body assembly so disconnect the electrical connector from the maf sensor. First remove the screws holding the maf sensor to the Throttle Body before extracting the maf sensor itself. The installation requires you to remount the maf sensor on the Throttle Body but you must read the fastener notice in service precautions first. Tighten the maf sensor securing screws to 3 n.m (27 lb in) torque specifications. The fuel injection sight shield goes back into position following the maf sensor electrical connector reinstallation to the maf sensor.
