How to replace the Tail Light on 2002 Buick LeSabre?

The first step for tail lamp replacement requires removing the rear compartment sill plate. The bulb replacement process is bypassed when you only need to replace the tail lamp. Reposition the tail lamp connector then force the grommet out from the rear end panel opening. Detach the fasteners holding the tail lamp assembly to the body then extract the tail lamp assembly from its position. Positioning your fingers counterclockwise will detach the tail lamp socket while you replace any faulty bulb replacements. After removing the tail lamp for bulb replacement only check that the grommet sits properly inside the body rear end panel before moving to installation.
