How to replace the water pump on 2002 Buick Park Avenue?

Start replacement of the Water Pump by emptying engine coolant and taking the Drive Belt off first. Begin by uninstalling both bolts from the Water Pump Pulley and removing the Water Pump Pulley itself. Unbolt the Water Pump (1 and 2) and remove the part from its installation. Scrub both parts where the gasket connects and double-check the Water Pump condition. To install the Water Pump onto the engine use a fresh gasket while tightening the bolts with jiffy rods (1, 2) at 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs) and long bolts at 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Place the Water Pump Pulley patiently and fasten its bolts at 13 nm (115 inch lbs.) before adding the Drive Belt. Finally, fill the cooling system.
