How to Service and Repair a Fuel Level Sensor on 2002 Buick Regal?

In order to service the fuel level sensor, it is safe to disconnect the battery. Take off fuel system pressure, and then take off fuel sender assembly and sensor. Reconnect the sensor, reconnect the assembly, tighten the fuel cap and again connect the battery. Test the leaks and turn on ignition and off.
