2002 Buick Regal Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to replace the front headlight bulb on 2002 Buick Regal?
A: After opening the hood users should use light pressure on the headlamp lens to secure place before removing the retainers. You can release the headlamp retainers by lifting them up and then step by step extract the mounting tabs from their location points on the upper fascia support combined with fender reinforcement. Unplug the Headlight electrical connector before extracting the Headlight unit from its place. You must first remove the rubber access covers installed behind the headlamp bulb/sockets with replacement functions in mind while observing the important halogen bulb caution. The counterclockwise rotation on the headlamp bulb/socket unlocks it before you pull the unit from the headlamp while disconnecting its electrical connector. To install the new headlamp bulb/socket connect the electrical connector first before putting the bulb/socket in the headlamp while rotating it clockwise until full seating occurs. Place the rubber access covers back then attach the electrical connector to the headlamp component. Use gentle pressure that pushes the lens of the headlamp as you insert the mounting tabs into the slots found between the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement. Press the retainers over the mounting tabs before securing them completely. Examine the headlamp for its proper seating position then verify the headlamp aim if new headlamps were installed and following maintenance operations disturbed any mounting brackets. Finally, close the hood.
