  A: To replace the air bag clock spring, one should first disable the sir system. Take off the upper and lower Steering Column shrouds and the Steering Wheel. Remove the air bag clock spring. Unplug the inline connector c205 at the bottom of the Steering Column, and remove the wiring harness straps from the Steering Wheel column wiring harness. Next, take out the retaining ring and pull out the air bag clock spring from the Steering Shaft. In order for installation, position the new air bag clock spring over the Steering Shaft and fit it using the retaining ring. Route the lower coil wiring harness around the Steering Column, install the required wiring harness straps before re-installing the inline connector c205. Install the Steering Wheel, its upper & lower Steering Column shrouds and the air bag clock spring. After everything has been set, turn on the sir system.
