How to replace the EGR Tube on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

Start by turning off ignition before attempting replacement of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe. Pull the egr pipe assembly back after removing the bolt that keeps the pipe in place from the EGR Valve. The egr pipe assembly nut securing the Exhaust Manifold requires unscrewing before the egr pipe can be removed. First install the EGR Valve pipe to the Exhaust Manifold then fasten the egr pipe nut while torqueing it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Fasten the egr pipe bolt to the EGR Valve slot before tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft).
