How to replace the shock absorber on a front-wheel-drive on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

Installation of a new Shock Absorber starts with raising and supporting the front-wheel-drive vehicle. A utility stand should compress the coil spring to decrease the Shock Absorber tension. The air tube connector must be removed from the Shock Absorber when automatic level control is present on the system. Start the Shock Absorber replacement by removing its upper bolt and accompanying nut before safely removing both the upper and lower bolts and finally taking out the Shock Absorber. During installation position the new Shock Absorber correctly then follow the provided fastener notice to achieve proper installation. Secure the Shock Absorber by using bolts and nuts then tighten them to 85 nm (63 ft. Lbs.). Connect the air tube connector to the Shock Absorber if automatic level control is present on the vehicle. After lowering the vehicle the utility stand should be removed from the rear axle.
