  A: Workers will then remove the two nuts from the Intake Manifold sight shield and take off the sight shield from the engine. Remove the connectors from the coil module, the cold modules in the camshaft covers, the pcv dirty air tube, the pcv fresh air tube, and the fuel regulator vacuum tube as well as the vacuum tubes from the air solenoid. Remove the fuel inlet and return quick-connect fittings at the Fuel Rail and remove the Fuel Rail bracket retaining nut at the back lift bracket. If available, remove the 2 push nuts that hold the engine coolant heater wire and place off to one side. Carefully move the surge tank pipe out of the way of Fuel Rail studs and then unplug the 8 electrical connectors from the fuel injectors. Once you take off the 4 bolts that connect the Fuel Rail to the Intake Manifold, lift all the Fuel Rail and injectors off the Intake Manifold. Loose the plenum duct clamp located at the rear of the Intake Manifold and take out the 10 bolts that join the Intake Manifold to the cylinder heads. Elevate the Intake Manifold vertically from the front. Clean and inspect the Intake Manifold prior to lightly greasing the inside edge of the rubber plenum duct and removing debris from the Cylinder Head or Intake Manifold. Install new gaskets to the Intake Manifold, while making sure the PCV Valve Hose is well fix in place to the fitting at the front part of the Intake Manifold before placing them. Install setting rear side of Intake Manifold to the plenum duct and placing the front of the Intake Manifold into the cylinder heads. Sand late the 10 bolts fastening the Intake Manifold to the cylinder heads still, then bolt them in sequence to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Make sure the plenum duct is firmly mounted on the rear of the Intake Manifold and tighten the plenum duct clamp to 2.25 nm (20 inch lbs.). Lubricate the Intake Manifold Fuel Injector bores with the light mineral oil gm p/n 9981704; clean engine oil or its equivalent, and insert entire Fuel Rail and injector assembly by pressing them together into place. Replace the 4 bolts fastening the Fuel Rail with the Intake Manifold and tighten them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Attach the 8 electrical connectors to the fuel injectors, install the surge tank pipe to the Fuel Rail studs, and install the engine coolant heater wire to the Fuel Rail studs if applicable. Replace the 2 push nuts and the Fuel Rail bracket retaining nut to the rear lift bracket and tighten it to 10nm (89inch lbs.). Install quick connect fittings to the Fuel Rail, attach vacuum tubes to the air soled, between the fuel regulator vacuum tube, between the pcv fresh air tube, and between the pcv dirty air tube to camshaft cover and attach coil modules connectors to coil modules in the camshaft covers. To check for fuel leaks turn the ignition key to on for 2sec, off for 10 sec and again for on. Lastly, align the Intake Manifold sight shield on the engine and fix the 2 sight shield nuts by tightening with 3 nm (27 inch lbs.).
