How to replace the rear door front window channel on 2002 Cadillac DeVille?

Starting the replacement of rear door front Window Channel requires removal of the door trim panel first. You should first remove the door module as well as the water deflector. Reconnect the Power Window Switch along with the module after which raise the window all the way to its maximum height level. Start by taking off the upper and lower fasteners from the front Window Channel then turn it forward before pulling it out through the front opening of the inner door panel. Insert the new front Window Channel through the same opening hole then reverse it while you position it at the bottom of the window. Fasten the front Window Channel fasteners along both top and bottom using torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). After lowering the window to its maximum position disconnect the Power Window Switch and module then reinsert the water deflector before reinstalling them. To conclude the installation process both the door module and door trim panel need to be put into place.
