The first step to replace the headlamp Dimmer Switch is to disable the sir system. Steering Column removal is required along with disconnecting the Dimmer Switch electrical connector. Start by removing the Dimmer Switch retaining nut together with bolt and then detach the Dimmer Switch rod from the Dimmer Switch before removing the Dimmer Switch. The first step for installation includes putting in the Dimmer Switch followed by connecting the Dimmer Switch rod to it. Secure the Dimmer Switch retaining nut along with bolt by tightening them to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Connect the Dimmer Switch electrical connector then install the Steering Column while enabling the sir system.
