How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2002 Cadillac Eldorado?

Before performing the MAP Sensor replacement begin by turning off the ignition and unplugging the MAP Sensor electric connector. The procedure begins by removing the bolts from the accelerator cable bracket and the bracket before you extract the MAP Sensor from the Intake Manifold. Check the MAP Sensor grommet for signs of damage and wear before making a replacement. When installing the MAP Sensor position it back into the Intake Manifold yet follow the fastener notice in service precautions during the procedure. Attach the accelerator cable bracket and secure its bolts at 12 n.m (106 lb in). Then connect the MAP Sensor electrical connector.
