Connectors for the rear Oxygen Sensor should be disconnected prior to sensor removal but only when engine temperature reaches at least 48°c (120°F). Extract the rear Oxygen Sensor from its position on the rear Exhaust Manifold. Use anti-seize compound pin 5613695 or similar product on threaded sensor areas before inserting a reused sensor into the rear Exhaust Manifold then secure it tightly at 41 n.m (30 lb ft). The technician should connect the rear Oxygen Sensor connector then elevate the car frame before nutting down the four rear bolts to 100 n.m (74 lb ft) tension before the vehicle descent.
