New service sensors should have anti-seize compound P/N 5613695 applied during production but users should apply similar material P/N 5613695 to reused sensors before installation. You should install the pre- or post-converter sensor and fasten it at 41 N.m (30 lb ft). Connect the pre- or post-converter oxygen sensor electrical connector while directing the harnesses below the heat shield to guard against connector damage and finally put the vehicle back on the ground.
