  A: Before servicing the bank 1 sensor 1 Oxygen Sensor, lift and support the vehicle while making sure that the rear of the powertrain frame is supported. Unscrew the four rear frame bolts and lower the frame no more than three inches. Unplug the rear Oxygen Sensor's electric connector, remembering to remove oxygen sensors only with the temperature of the engine above 48°c (120°F) in order to avoid problems. In this step, the rear Oxygen Sensor has to be extracted from the rear Exhaust Manifold. When installing the new rear Oxygen Sensor, make sure to apply a special anti-seize upon the compounds to the twists; new service sensors should already contain this compound, while reused sensors should be coated with anti-seize compound p/n 5613695, or equivalent. Mount the rear Oxygen Sensor into the rear Exhaust Manifold and tighten to 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Connect the rear Oxygen Sensor connector, lift the frame and install the four rear frame bolts and tighten to 100 n.m (74 lb ft) before lowering the vehicle.
