How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Remove the A/C accumulator tube, then the surge tank outlet hose and next the electrical connector from the camshaft sensor to replace the CMP Sensor. Following that, take out the camshaft retaining bolt and take out the camshaft sensor. Before installing everything, inspect the cam sensor's O-ring and change it if you notice signs of damage. Use engine oil to coat the camshaft O-ring first, then install the camshaft sensor and securing bolt, so that it is not too tight or too loose. Carefully go on to reconnect the electrical wire to the camshaft sensor, replace the surge tank outlet hose and attach the A/C accumulator tube. Make sure the engine is running and just check the camshaft sensor for any oil that leaks out.
