How to replace the shock absorber on a 15 Series Utility W/G65 on 2002 Cadillac Escalade?

The process to change the Shock Absorber on a 15 series utility w/g65 requires first raising the vehicle for support followed by rear axle support. Start by taking out the upper Shock Absorber nut and bolt followed by disassembly of the lower Shock Absorber nut and bolt. Lower the axle and remove the Shock Absorber. The new Shock Absorber needs to be positioned while you install it using the upper Shock Absorber nut and bolt. First raise the rear axle for lower through bolt installation while following the fastener notice in service precautions before installing the lower Shock Absorber nut and bolt to 95 nm (70 ft-lbs) torque. The safety stands need to be removed while you lower the vehicle after removing the support from the rear axle.
