  A: The engine Flywheel servicing procedure starts with removing the transaxle assembly while maintaining new bolts because the old Flywheel bolts should not be reused. The repair process begins by dismantling the 8 mounting bolts before moving on to take off the Flywheel together with the reinforcement. Check the condition of the engine Flywheel then put it into position with the reinforcement piece attached to the Crankshaft. Sealant gm p/n 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) of equivalent type should be applied to the new Flywheel mounting bolts. Surround the engine Flywheel with 8 new mounting bolts and fasten each bolt to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) during the initial tightening sequence. The torque/angle meter (J 36660-A) will be used for the last pass to increase Flywheel bolt torque by 50 degrees. Finally, reinstall the transaxle assembly.
