How to replace the Tail Light/Turn Signal Lamp on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

First open the rear compartment lid then take out the rear compartment sill plate before starting tail/turn signal lamp replacement. Open the rear compartment and peel back the trim panel before removing the tail lamp connector. Thoroughly press the grommet from the rear compartment before you take out the tail lamp retaining nuts then remove the tail lamp. Route the tail lamp connector and grommet through the body before making sure the grommet sits all the way inside its position. Put the tail lamp back into the body opening then fasten the nuts securely at 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Install the tail lamp connector then put back the rear compartment sill plate and lock the rear compartment lid.
