How to replace the Tail Light on Cadillac Seville?

Your tail lamp replacement process starts from the rear compartment lid. Remove the left or right rear compartment side trim before disconnecting the taillamp connector and pressing the grommet out. Unscrew the fasteners that hold the tail lamp in position and carefully remove it. Remove the taillamp connector from its socket before slowly ejecting the grommet through the rear compartment aperture. First remove the fasteners which hold the tail lamp to the body before extracting the taillamp. Installation requires you to guide the taillamp connector and grommet through the body structure while making sure the grommet fully enters its place. Put the taillamp into position within the body and fasten it by tightening 4.5 n.m (40 lb in) fasteners . After attaching the taillamp connector install rear compartment side trim before closing the rear compartment lid.
