How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

In order to have the windshield wiper replaced and the washer switch replaced, turn off the SIR system. Take out the steering column trim covers and the wiring harness tie straps. Dis-connect the windshield switch connectors and the control module connectors. Get rid of the old switch, put the new one, and reconnect everything and then turn on the SIR system.
