How to replace the Brake Light Switch in a right-hand drive on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

For replacing the brake light switch on a right-hand drive vehicle you must first detach the right closeout/sound insulator. Unplug the electrical wires from the switch before turning the brake light/ABS/shift lock switch counterclockwise and pulling it out. Fitted brake light switches should operate automatically when positioned in complete lock mode while the twist lock type switch doesn't call for any extra adjustments. Push the brake light switch into its retainer until it presses the plunger all the way into the switch body. Turn the switch clockwise until the locking mechanism is secure. Attach the electrical wires to the brake light switch before installing the right encasement and sound insulation.
