How to replace the Brake Light Switch on a left-hand drive on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

In order to replace the stoplamp switch on a left hand drive vehicle, deinstall the left sound insulator. Next, rotating the stoplamp/ABS/shift lock switch counterclockwise and pulling it out would disconnect it from the vehicle. Then plug the connectors to the stoplamp switch and place the switch in the retainer. Activate the switch by pressing the switch into the retainer until the switch plunger is completely pressed into the switch barrel, then turn the switch clockwise until it is in position. Finally, reinstall the sound insulator.
