• Q: How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch (LHD) on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

  A: Start replacement of the signal switch with multiple functions by turning off the sir system then removing the trim panels from the steering column. Unfasten the steering column wire harness tie straps and disconnect all control module wires from the column. Uncover and take out the steering column wire harness while recording the service route direction to reinstall. Before removing the multifunction switch you must disconnect all electrical connectors 1, 2, and 3 while also unscrewing its retaining screws. Position the electrical contact on top of the turn signal cancel cam before adding the multifunction switch and securing it with the retaining screw at 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). Insert the steering column wire harness back into its lower shield while connecting the multifunction switch connectors (1, 2, 3). Also connect the steering column control module connectors. Put back the steering column wire harness ties and replace the steering column trim parts before enabling the sir system.
