How to replace the side impact Air Bag Sensor on 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?

In order to change the side impact sensor, disable the SIR system first. Take off the panel of the front door trim, loosen the fasteners and take away the sensor. Unplug the 2-way connector of the yellow harness. To install it, reconnect the harness, fix the sensor, and replace the door trim panel and then activate the SIR system.
