How to replace the Dipstick Tube and oil level indicator on 2002 Chevrolet Camaro?

Start the replacement by removing the oil level indicator from its tube and then removing the oil level indicator tube nut followed by removing the tube from the engine block. Before you reinstall the oil level indicator tube to the engine block replace the O-ring seal according to the fastener procedures in Service Precautions. Install the oil level indicator tube nut while tightening it to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.) before finally attaching the oil level indicator to the desired location.
