2002 Chevrolet Express 2500 Blower Motor Resistor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2002 Chevrolet Express 2500?
A: To install the blower motor resistor first you will remove all the left rear quarter trim panels. Then, after removing the retaining screws disconnect the power connector from the blower motor resistor and remove the blackener motor resistor from the case by taking it out of the blower case. For installation, insert the blower motor resistor back in the blower case (refer to the Fastener Notice in the Service Precautions). Secure it with the retaining screws that should be tightened to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Finally, reconnect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor and reinstall the left rear quarter trim panels.
