In order to service and repair the wiper arm, the wipers need to be set to the Park position and the washer hose should be unconnected. Take off the cover and nut on the wiper arm. Loosen it, as is necessary, with a puller. Fit the wiper blade putting it into the right position and fit the nut and washer hose back.
