Begin by removing the valve Rocker Arm cover together with the bolts before extracting both the valve rocker arms and push rods. The ends of push rods need prelube gm p/n 1052365 or similar product application where the 144 mm (5.75 inches) yellow color intake valve push rods should go first then install the 152.5 mm (6.0 inches) green color exhaust valve push rods. Apply the existing prelube substance to coat the friction areas on the rocker arms. Secure the valve Rocker Arm bolts at 14 nm (124 in. Lbs.) while using the torque angle meter (J36660-A) to perform a 30-degree bolt rotating motion. The completion of these procedures includes assembly of the valve Rocker Arm cover.
