How to Service Canister Purge Valves on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

Beginning the Canister Purge Valves service requires the engine ignition to be disabled. Service the evap Canister Purge Valves by first disconnecting their electrical connector then separating the hose from the pipe and vacuum supply hose. Start the replacement by first taking off the evap Canister Purge Valves retaining bolt then withdrawing the valves from the Intake Manifold. Place the evap Canister Purge Valves onto the Intake Manifold before installing their retaining bolt while tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). The evap canister purge pipe and vacuum supply hose require reattachment before proceeding with evap Canister Purge Valves electrical connector connection.
