How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

First, turn off the ignition and unplug the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and the MAP Sensor electrical connectors, respectively. Next, you will remove the air inlet duct from the maf sensor and from the Throttle Body, then the maf sensor will be removed from the air filter housing. Re-install the maf sensor back in the air filter housing, and reconnect the air inlet duct to the maf sensor and Throttle Body. Necklace the iat sensor's electric connector and the maf sensor's electric connector. Finally, gain steady rpm by testing the airflow into the air intake ducts for leakage.
