How to replace the coolant reservoir on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

First, take off the cross vehicle brace, next put the reservoir hose clamp back into position and disconnect the hose from the radiator overflow neck. After that, undo the coolant recovery reservoir nuts from the shock tower studs and lift the coolant recovery reservoir from the lower retainer and studs while collecting the coolant in a clean container. For installation, fit the coolant recovery reservoir to the lower retainer and the shock tower studs, installing the coolant recovery reservoir nuts and tightening them to 3.3 Put some clean water on the reservoir hose and direct it toward the radiator overflow neck fitting before connect the coolant reservoir hose to the overflow neck fitting. Firmly attach the clamp and hose with clamp tabs at the 11 o'clock position on the radiator overflow fitting, so the hose end touches the radiator filler neck, After that, put the cross vehicle brace back and add coolant to the recovery reservoir until it reaches the correct mark.
