In order to replace the coolant recovery reservoir, one would first relocate the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp to the radiator overflow fitting; after which, the cooling reservoir hose would be removed from the clip at the power distribution center and radiator overflow fitting. Next, remove the nuts from the shock tower studs, take out the coolant recovery reservoir from the lower retainer and shock tower studs draining the coolant into a clean container. For installation, install the coolant recovery reservoir back to the lower retainer and shock tower studs making sure the nuts are installed onto the shock tower studs and tightened to the torque rating of 3.3 nm (29 inch lbs.). Put some clean water to lubricate the reservoir hose and route it into the radiator overflow neck fitting, then, connect the Coolant Reservoir hose to the radiator overflow fitting ensuring that the hose end is flush to radiator filler neck, and the clamp is seated squarely between the radiator filler neck and the flared end of the fitting. Replace the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp to the radiator overflow part, connect the Coolant Reservoir hose using the clip at the power distribution center and pour the coolant recovery reservoir to the correct level.

You need to remove the cross vehicle brace as your first step when replacing the coolant recovery reservoir. Move the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp to the radiator overflow fitting and disconnect the hose from this fitting. Start by taking off the nuts from the shock tower studs until you remove the coolant recovery reservoir from its position between the lower retainer and shock tower studs while coolant drains into a clean container. For fitting the coolant recovery reservoir attach it to the lower retainer and shock tower studs before tightening nuts on the studs to 3.3 nm (29 inch lbs.). The reservoir hose needs cleaning water lubrication alongside a proper routing to the radiator overflow neck fitting before fitting the Coolant Reservoir hose to the radiator filler neck area while placing it flush to the neck position and properly seating the clamp between the hose and radiating fitting. Replace the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp on the radiator overflow fitting and reinstall the cross vehicle brace afterwards you should fill the coolant recovery reservoir to its correct level.

To change the coolant recovery reservoir, try to reposition the radiator overflow fitting at the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp and remove the Coolant Reservoir hose from the fitting. Next, remove the nuts from the shock tower studs and take out the coolant recovery reservoir from the lower retainer and from the shock tower studs, draining the coolant in a clean container. For installation of the coolant recovery reservoir, would put it back on the lower retainer and shock tower studs and then install nuts on the studs, tighten them to 3.3 nm (29 inch lbs.). Lubricate the reservoir hose with clean water and route it to the radiator overflow neck fitting and install the Coolant Reservoir hose on the fitting that has the hose end flush with the radiator filler neck and the clamp squarely between the neck and the flare end of the fitting. Finally, move the Coolant Reservoir hose clamp to radiator overflow fitting and pour the coolant recovery reservoir to the right level.

Start the replacement of the coolant recovery reservoir by removing the cross vehicle brace. You need to move the hose clamp (Hose Clamp) into position. Before installation disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator overflow neck then release the coolant recovery reservoir nuts (Nuts) from shock tower studs. Drain the coolant into a clean container when you remove the coolant recovery reservoir (Reservoir) from its lower retention points on shock tower studs. To install the coolant recovery reservoir (Reservoir) position it on lower retainer and shock tower studs before tightening its coolant recovery reservoir nuts (Nuts) on shock tower studs to 3.3 nm (29 inch lbs.). Clean water lubricates the reservoir hose before installation of the Coolant Reservoir hose (Hose) to the radiator overflow neck fitting. Secure the reservoir hose to the radiator overflow fitting on the radiator filler neck so the hose end sits flat against the radiator filler neck while using the clamp (Hose Clamp) which faces the 11 o'clock point. Install the cross-vehicle brace afterward while keeping the coolant recovery reservoir at its proper fill level.

Reposition the coolant reservoir hose clamp at the radiator overflow fitting.

Reinstall the cross vehicle brace and fill the coolant recovery reservoir to the proper level.

Place it onto the lower retainer and the shock tower studs, then install the coolant recovery reservoir nuts onto the shock tower studs, tightening them to 3.3 Nm (29 inch lbs.).

Lubricate the reservoir hose with clean water.
