The first step involves removing the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge line followed by fuel lines and subsequent disconnecting of the tp sensor electrical connector. The two tp sensor fasteners need removal before extracting the tp sensor and its o-ring from position. Installation of the new tp sensor requires the o-ring placement before mounting it to the Throttle Body while applying thread-locking compound such as loctite(R) 262, gm p/n #1052624, or equivalent to the fasteners. Install and tension the tp sensor attaching screws to 2.0 n.m (18 lb in) before reattaching the tp sensor electrical connector as well as the evap purge line and fuel lines. The last step should be reinstallation of the air intake duct.
