Sedan owners must start the power Window Motor replacement by trimming the door panel. Place the water deflector first to reach the door mounting screws of the power Window Motor before removing its electrical connector. Take the door access opening to insert the motor assembly for the removal of motor-to-Window Regulator mounting screws. First put a new power Window Motor and door mounting bracket on the Window Regulator while screwing them tightly to 6 nm (53 lb in). Reconnect the motor electrical connector before installing the mounting screws onto the door while tightening them to 10 nm (89 lb in). Position the water deflector back on the door. Prior to mounting the door trim panel discard all retainers then replace them with new ones before assembly. Install the door trim panel retainers to the panel followed by the door panel installation while performing a test of the power window operation.
