In order to change the valve lifters, take off the intake manifold, valve rocker arms and pushrods. Removal of valve lifter guide retainer wells and liftors. Label the valve lifters to be installed. Apply a remover on stuck lifters. Wipe down and clean lifters, grease rollers, and get them lined up prior to re-installation.
