  A: Get the tools needed to change the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve springs: j 38820 (Valve Stem Seal Remover and Installer), j 44222 (Camshaft Sprocket Holding Tool), and j 44228 (Valve Spring Compressor). Start by taking off the cam cover, spark plugs, exhaust, and intake sprocket bolts. Mount the j 44222 on the Cylinder Head such that the timing chain parts are not disturbed to align the two horizontal bolts to the Camshaft sprockets in order to keep chains in a tense state. Carefully move the sprockets, timing-chain off the camshafts, removing the Camshaft cap bolts and Camshaft caps in a rack for reinstallation. Lbs. ) on the first pass and then the final pass tighten it an additional 100 degs. With the j 36660 a. Tighten the exhaust Camshaft actuator bolt to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs) in the first, and 135° further in the final, using j 36660-a. Finally, fit the spark plugs and cam shaft cover.
