The fuel filler pipe installation requires the detachment of the wheelhouse stud attaching nut followed by the wheelhouse panel attaching screw after which you must remove the fuel filler pipe bracket bolt along with the vent pipe. The first step begins with taking out the Fuel Filler Hose at its place in the Fuel Tank before you extract both the fuel filler pipe and hose. Begin with fuel filler pipe and hose attachment to the Fuel Tank while verifying the complete insertion of the fill hose. The tightness of the fuel filler pipe clamp should reach 2.5 n.m (22 lb in) before the fuel filler pipe attaching screw is fastened to the wheelhouse panel and tightened to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The process starts with attaching the fuel filler pipe attaching nut onto the wheelhouse panel before tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Then install the fuel filler pipe shield.
