  A: A fixed horizontal surface provides the right foundation to replace the power steering reservoir off the vehicle for the CB Series by positioning the hydraulic pump shaft facing upwards. A screwdriver can pry the retaining clip tab outward before sliding the reservoir clip away from the assembly containing the hydraulic pump. Perform this action once more to remove the second reservoir clip and extract the reservoir through the hydraulic pump housing . Discard the O-ring seal both from the reservoir neck and the hydraulic pump housing. The neck of the reservoir requires power steering fluid lubrication before install of the new O-ring seal. Position the reservoir onto its mounting position so the reservoir neck gets fully inserted into the hydraulic pump assembly. Fasten the reservoir feet against the hydraulic pump housing sides by placing the new retaining clips properly into the pump.
