How to service the quarter window motor on 2002 GMC Envoy?

In order to remove the quarter window motor, it is good to fix the rear edge of the body side window with masking tape so that it does not move. Take out the rear interior trim panel, disconnect electrical connection and remove actuator. Install the actuator back in, re-connect the electrical connection, and install the trim panel.
